More photos of hoar frost from today's walk from Churchstoke. Corndon was quite a spectacle - grasses and bracken, heather and fences all covered with ice, making the whole place feel like a fairy wonderland.
From the bench at the top we could see our destination - Mitchell's Fold. Mud kept to a minimum thankfully (due to hard ground mostly) and we made good progress over low passes and onto the top, to a stone circle then on old drovers roads past a derelict stone building and down down down to Churchstoke again.
