This is a 13-mile (21 Km) Grade B circular walk in the Clwydian Range which starts and finishes in the village of Cilcain (Approx. 16m NW of Wrexham). Total ascent/descent is around 3,300 feet (1000m) which includes three challenging climbs on Offa’s Dyke Path leading to Moel Famau (554m) before a final descent back along the Clwydian Way. The first half of the walk begins by crossing several stiles and a few streams before turning back along the Offa’s Dyke ridge line.
Depart Shrewsbury at 08:00; walk starts 09:30 and we should be back at 16:00 including stops.
