Cardington

    I suggest that we meet at the abbey at 8.30, and anyone wanting to go straight to Cardington gets there for 8.50.

    The walk will start from the car park of the Village Hall opposite the church in Cardington (SO 506952), where there is a £2 suggested donation per car. We will proceed south to Hill End, then head below the Battle Stones towards Caer Caradoc which we will ascend on a fairly gentle traverse of the south eastern side. From Caer Caradoc we head to Little Caradoc and then The Lawley. We return to Cardington via Causeway Wood, Hoar Edge and Enchmarsh. Around 11 miles and 2,400 feet of ascent taking about six to seven hours.
