Cannock Chase

    This is not the sort of terrain we would normally go walking in. The highest point is a modest 199m, roughly the same height as Grinshill, but this vast tract of land with its grassland, bracken, gorse and wooded areas has quite a bit of variety.

    Length about 10 miles, meeting time 09:00.

    Usually we are able to park in a free parking area, but participants are advised to bring £2 in coins in case we are forced to use the official car park.
