The southern part of the ridge traditionally did not draw the crowds, and even when there is less travel abroad, the smaller southern hills which extend from British Camp, aka the Herefordshire Beacon, to Chase End Hill will still be quieter than the northern part. British Camp (Iron Age) hill fort is a modest 340m, but even so there are good views of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. There are four main hilltops in this area, but time will probably only allow us to do three of them

     The mileage will be about 12, with some arduous climbs up two of them. The rest of the walk will be relatively tame.
