Sunday 8th September 2019 - Llangollen - Eglwyseg Rocks

We start in the town itself and go up Castell Dinas Bran, and then up to the higher ground above Eglwyseg Rocks and going northward. There is a sharp climb onto the Castell, which looks like an upturned pudding, and there is a tough climb with some boulders going out of the valley onto higher ground. We will be going about three miles to the north, then there is a hairpin bend and back into the valley going south. Once we get onto the higher ground the rest is mostly plain sailing, all the more so on the last mile which is along the canal back to the town.
