Meet at the Abbey:  07.30 am or walk Start point 09.30 am.

Walk Start Point: Walled CP 1 Km east of Ogwen Cottage (SH 659 602) or other layby nearby if this is full.

This walk is known as the Cwm Bochlwyd Horseshoe. An impressive circular ascent of the Glyderau that has more scrambling and more varied terrain than any other walk in Snowdonia.  The route includes: a full north to south traverse of Tryfan, technical scrambling on Bristly Ridge and Y Gribin Ridge, and the ascent of Glyder Fach. It includes 4 Grade 1 scrambles.  A good head for heights and ability to use hands and feet on rock is required.  Good, dry weather conditions are required, so the walk may be altered in event of poor weather.
