Sunday 28th May 2017 - Macclesfield

There is a small area of the Pennines which falls within Cheshire, and which is the setting for this walk. It goes over the two highest points in this clump of hills around Macclesfield: Shining Tor at 559m and the sharp-sided Shutlingsloe, 506m but much more noticeable. To complete the circuit we have to tackle the shrp end of Tegg's Nose, at the stage in the walk when people are beginning to get a bit worn.
