Sunday 13th May 2018 - Ecclesiastical Excursion

     Starting from near to Hundred House , Radnorshire. The route through the south Radnor hills visits three ancient churches, at Rhulen, Glascwm and Cregrina. Originally Celtic Church’s built on former pagan sites in the ninth century the current structures are early Norman and because of their isolated location are largely unspoiled. They and their history give some idea of life in this remote region a millennium ago.

   Moderate 12miles approx.  53 miles via Knighton and New Radnor.

   Possible beer (and tea) finish at the Hundred House Inn.
