No toilet facilities at the start, or during the course of the walk.
This circular walk will see us head in a northerly direction, along Offa’s Dyke/old Shropshire Way, which is also the Welsh/English border, to Bronygarth.  Here
we pick up the Llwyr Ceiriog Trail, for some miles, which offers some splendid views of The Vale of Llangollen and Llangollen itself.

At Careg y Big, we take a short, short cut, to save a couple of miles, before rejoining the  Llwyr Ceiriog Trail, until we cross the River Ceiriog, at Pontfadog. The rest of the route, back to the car, is on tarmac but we didn’t meet a single car, during the recce and weather permitting, we will be provided with some excellent views. However it also includes a long, but never overly steep, 1.5 miles, 235m ascent, out of the valley, before dropping down to the starting point.

The route is reasonably demanding, being hilly but you will be rewarded with some smashing views, very few stiles and plenty to keep you interested, in a neglected area for walking.
